Movement doesn’t come from technique and intention alone—it rises from a deeper place: from what moves us inside.
Emovere—Latin for “to set in motion”—describes what emotions do: they lead us into movement — toward and away, into boundaries and release, into withdrawal and opening, into play and surrender.
Tango offers many entry points: figures, geometry, and technique; embrace, connection and timing; a musical understanding of rhythm, melody, and phrasing.
And then there’s a moment when music no longer wants to be explained, but to be felt.
Emotional musicality is that quiet translation of music into movement—and it makes tango richer, more personal, more true.
This intensive training is for dancers who want to deepen their musicality and expressive range, and to improvise more freely as a couple: from leading & following to dialogue; from doing to letting something emerge.

Emotionale Musikalität ist diese leise Übersetzung von Musik in Bewegung – und sie macht Tango reicher, persönlicher, wahrhaftiger.
Dieses Intensivtraining richtet sich an Tänzer*innen, die ihre Musikalität und Ausdruckskraft vertiefen und als Paar freier improvisieren möchten: vom Führen & Folgen zum Dialog; vom Machen zum Entstehen-Lassen.

on Thursday night 20:00 - 1:00 - 2 x Light lunch & afternoon treats with coffee/tea
on Wednesday and Thursday - 3 x Excellent dinner
on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - Water, fruits, snacks
other drinks available at the bar for a fee - Free private parking

- Stay overnight with your own camper or tent for a very reasonable price incl. toilet facilities

available on Thursday & Friday morning (book to your delight in advance during registration) Let’s join the famous El Corte Chained Salon in Nijmegen/NL on Friday night all together!
The salon starts at 22:00 and ends at 01:00. The drive takes about 30 minutes, so we’ll leave at 21:20 from Kloster Graefenthal.You can also choose to continue dancing in El Corte on Saturday and Sunday — hence the name “Chained Salon.”
On Saturday, doors open at 13:00 — and it’s highly advisable to arrive on time!👉 For more information, visit the El Corte website.
